'How can I make money on the internet?' This question is frantically being typed into google by many. The problem is it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. There are scams on the net which make the search for a legitimate home business a little more challenging, but all is not lost. You just need to sift through tons of information before dicovering a gem.

No matter how good your business, service or products are, there is still a huge chance that you will fail online.

Scary isn't it? Well, to be honest, many people looking to make money online fail because of three main reasons. One is they were not prepared to do the work or was mislead in the amount of work required to be successful.
Secondly, it takes time to learn how to market effectively online and may take you months before you master how to. The online marketing plan needs to continue during tough times when you feel there is no success and no money coming in. 85% of those who fail, fall into this bracket. It is hard working for no pay. But this is a business and people looking quick riches never succeed online.

Making money online doesn't require any skills that can't be taught, however, the skill is being consistent in your marketing efforts and to do it even when you feel like taking the evening off, after a long hard day.

Making money online also requires focus as there are many distractions on the internet. The fastest way to make money online is to find someone who can teach you. Imagine if no one showed you how to tie your shoes laces when you were a child, how long do you think it would have taken you to teach yourself something you don't know? It's the same in learning how to make money online. What amazes me is that despite this fact, millions still try and teach themselves how to make money online. Is it not surprising to learn, that many fail or continue their search forever.

My advice to those who are looking to make money online is to find a homebased business, that teaches you how to market online and you also get a mentor. Ensure that you enter into a business that states it is 90 -98% automated, so that you don't have to always be working, but your business continues to make money for you, even while you sleep. If possible, enter into a business that takes away the hardest part which is selling, maybe it is outsourced to someone else. Another piece advice would be to be prepared to work three to six months, before the expectation of earning a full time replacable income. Finally, try and get some decent free training on the concepts behind online/internet marketing and what is expected.

If you take my advice and do your due diligence and find a good mentor, then you will be one of the few, who join the rest of us in making a full time income from the net.
It's not rocket science but it is there is work. Once you are prepared to put in the effort, the rewards are waiting. Don't believe anyone or any hype that states to make money online is easy.
